VG Offshore Containers International Sdn Bhd manufactures it high quality products from its comprehensive and state of the art manufacturing plant located at the Pulau Indah Industrial Estate, in Port Klang, the largest seaport in Malaysia. Covering an area of three acres, the plant has the capacity to build substantial numbers of containerised modules and related products within the timeframe required by customers.
General Office/Administration
VG’s general administration is housed in an ultra-modern three floor office area that offers a very conducive working environment for both the management and staff. A wide spacious reception area offers an ideal welcome for customers and visitors while ample space is allocated to administrative staff. Management is housed in thematic rooms reflecting the oil producing centres of the world.
For meetings, training and business transactions, there is ample space with a state of the art conference room with digital audio-video equipment, teleconferencing and presentation facilities. There are also smaller rooms for business and small group meetings.
Design / Research and Development Centre
VG’s customized solutions and designs are initiated at the fully-equipped and staffed R&D and Design Centre. Here, our design engineers conceptualize original designs based on clients’ briefings and requirements, using the latest design software and tools. These designs upon approval, materialize into the outstanding, high quality and pragmatic products that VG is so well known for worldwide.
Fabrication Yard
Raw materials of various specifications and strength for the production of VG products, are measured, cut and fabricated at this expansive 50,000 sq.ft fabrication yard. This yard also acts a storage area for our incoming raw materials.
Manufacturing and Assembly Floor
The vast cavernous manufacturing floor features the latest manufacturing equipment and tools to ensure the best build quality and the superb finishing. State of the art cutting, forming and welding equipment and machinery combined with the skilled expertise of highly experienced manufacturing staff enables the company to produce offshore containers and related products that are of the highest standards and of world class quality.
Paint Shop
The Paint Shop comprises blasting booth with automated dust collection system and calibrated equipment to check weather condition and blasting profile and a painting booth with individual booths for each coating and calibrated equipment to test paint WFT and DFT.
This offers flawless and smooth surfaces, thus enhancing the image and quality of VG products.
Quality Inspection Area
Aside from quality checks at every process of manufacturing, a series of stringent tests and checks are made on every finished product. These include load tests, electrical and mechanical tests, comprehensive installation checks to ensure every fitting and components are properly installed. It is only after these gruelling tests have been completed that DNV and other international certifications are awarded to the products.
Storage Yard
VG has allocated a vast area as a storage yard for finished products. VG practises JIT processes to ensure that finished products are delivered immediately after manufacture.
